FAQ

Does an unusual shirt prove a Glaggle is fake?
No universal rule was verified. Recent Maniac players describe a torso appearance they initially misread. Compare the same type and avoid relying on one suspicious detail.
Are the listed disguise tells officially documented?
The developer confirms imperfect disguises. Specific face, color and torso checks come from a community reference and are marked as community guidance here.

What does the developer actually confirm?

Enphosians hide among innocent Glaggles using imperfect disguises. The current Roblox description confirms that identification is part of the objective. It does not provide a complete visual checklist or a guaranteed test for every enemy, difficulty, and modifier.

Treat the following as community inspection guidance. It is a way to look carefully, not permission to attack every character with an unfamiliar appearance.

What should you compare?

Compare arrivals of the same type. Two different Glaggles can have different normal appearances. The community Glaggles reference suggests faces, color and torso markings as possible differences.

Check What to inspect Limit
Face Missing or different facial details compared with a matching arrival A distant or obstructed view may be incomplete
Color A mismatch against the same type Lighting and unfamiliar variants can confuse the comparison
Torso A missing, different or misplaced marking Recent Maniac players report appearances they initially misread
Context Whether you recognize this arrival in the selected mode Earlier-version examples are not a complete current reference

The visual examples in older community pages may predate SMILE MORE. We have not verified an exhaustive current disguise roster or an exact rule for each difficulty.

Why should you avoid a one-detail decision?

In recent Maniac footage, at 2:26–2:37, players discuss an arrival with a shirt they thought looked fake. They interpret it as legitimate after an unexpected consequence. This is one group’s report, not a verified formula for what triggers that consequence.

The practical lesson is to compare more carefully. Do not turn the players’ explanation into a universal hidden mechanic. If you cannot identify an arrival, improve your viewing angle and compare it with a matching type while remaining close enough to respond at the statue.

What do you do after a fight starts?

Keep looking back at the objective. The game’s official description warns that revealed Enphosians fight back; an extended fight can pull attention away from the approach routes. Use the statue-defense routine to keep someone watching the objective.

If an unfamiliar tool makes the situation harder to read, return to its current description. The class guide explains how to separate a class choice from a recognition problem. For a first run, follow the beginner sequence.

What remains unverified?

  • A complete SMILE MORE list of legitimate and fake appearances.
  • Whether any one visual tell applies across all difficulties and modifiers.
  • Exact penalties or hidden triggers after attacking an innocent.

No damage, probability or hidden-trigger claim is published here. Reviewed 13 October 2026; current official objective plus attributed community and gameplay observations.
